The holiday merriment is almost over. Soon enough we will look in the mirror to find heavier, more exhausted versions of ourselves weighed down by more things we don't need. But it's a good time to be weighty, because icy January is upon us, and we are going to need a lower center of gravity to brave those treacherous sidewalks. Still, January gets a person down, especially up here in Upstate NY.
